Royal Oaks races with the Shasta Racing Pigeon club, NORCAL Combine and North State Flyers.

I started Racing Pigeons in 1963 with some Sions given to me by Big John Garzoli in the old Napa Solano Homing Pigeon Club.

Through the years with a very controlled and selective breeding program we have produced many ACE Combine and Club Champion Pigeons and Now “411” a true Hall of Fame winner, with brothers and sisters that have also won for us.

We are a small loft with only 12 Breeding Pairs of Racing Pigeons, Van Loons, Tourniers, DeVreints, Bors, with a small amount of old Sions.  Through crossing and some line breeding we have produced too many winners to list.  We breed birds for the distance, birds for Short races (350mi) and birds for Long Distances (600mi) always with the 600mi day bird as our goal.

 

We now have our 600mi DAY BIRD, "Bat Man" 1st at 500mi, 2nd at 500mi, 1st 600mi on the day. 4th Martathon AU ACE Pigeon. 4502 came in 20min after dead time, he was flying over the trees looking for the loft and one of the guys said, "thats a Bat"thus "Bat Man." 

Bat Man is now in our stock loft, along with 411.
